If I had seen the product first hand, I would not have bought at all. I am part of my driving on country roads, is back with a lot of holes and I did not feel that my Garmin 72 is really guaranteed in its upstream because of all the weight pivoting on that little piece of plastic. I’m using this mount in my car for almost a year and has held up well. I like the fact that the holder comes off the base so that it can be used in other vehicles with other bases. I use it on a beanbag-style in my wifes van and installation works too bene.Il why the mountain only gets four stars from me is the fact that it is difficult and sometimes requires two hands to put the GPS and remove it when you use the power cord plug cigarettes.
