I bought 46U1 to be my first big screen HDTV. I did not want to spend too much money, but I did not want a TV or economic. 46U1 I found for sale at Wal-Mart for $ 698 and grabbed uno.Fin from the first moment I turned on I was blown away! Beautiful pictures, vivid colors, and a very important feature for me. Deep neri.Circa one month after enjoying my new HDTV every day something changed. I first noticed the change, when watching a movie with a night scene. It showed a man walking on a road at night under a lamppost. I had seen this particular scene, a few weeks before when browsing the channels. What has changed is that the black level on my U1, or the deepest black a TV can produce, it was dark gray and black, not at all. I have a lot of attention until a friend referred the same to me a few days later while watching a movie. I popped in The Dark Knight Blu-ray and low and behold my blacks were gray. The change was not subtle and was much less evident, not only an AV enthusiast like me, but to everyone. I searched and found the thread over at [. . . ] And the original poster of which his G10 suffered the same increase in the level of black. Since I found the thread, G10 and even some owners V10 many have come forward claiming their sets are defective. Unfortunately for those of us who bought these TVs with our hard-earned money Panasonic has been denying the problem exists at all. They argue that the increase is normal during the life of the plasma. While the real change occurs normally for the duration of the TV that some of the changes we are seeing are happening in the course of 1-3 months. Much earlier than normal sicuro.Abbastanza on this, however, the rest on 46U1! The image quality, although the grayish blacks, it seems very good. Nice rich, and decently accurate color. SD material looks good, but HD content looks great, especially Blu-ray played via my PS3. The speakers are actually quite good and have a bit grim. Menu options are very limited, as one would expect in a model of lower price, but there are enough settings to adjust the picture and sound to your liking. The set looks great sitting on my AV cabinet. A nice deep black frame, although a bit ‘thick for my taste, still manages to look elegant. A thin strip of silver accents set down. The stand is very robust but not swivel. One thing to watch out for are scratches. Make sure you clean the frame and the screen with microfiber cloth and cotton and paper products, such as the areas you can scratch easily if not careful! Overall I’m very happy with my purchase, with the caveat only one . A good entry level plasma could have been great if not for a flaw in the design of the TV and all other 2009 Panasonic plasma. Everything from the cheapest to most expensive ‘09 Panasonic Plasma is concerned. Will be the new 2010 models still have the problem? Only time will tell, but I would avoid buying one and instead looks at Samsung or LG instead. Rating: 3 / 5

Pretty much, this TV rocce.Hanno some at a local shop and I’ve lost people to walk by them on their price point and buy a more expensive TV inferiore.Sembra well with any source. SD, HD, does great. Of course, things are not going to look good, as with SD content, but you have a 46 “screen when it would not be able to see the gritty details as well as on an old 27″ SDTV together – it is technology, not magic . Do yourself a favor and get your TV calibrated. We took a copy of Elf on DVD and used his setup calibration image, the image has gone from great even greater. E ‘was impressive. I did not think he could of had meglio.Video games, this thing is like an arcade monitor on steroids. They did not display as good as this thing in theaters giochi.Anche playing super fast games everything looks buttery smooth. Even the old 16bit games look good on this monitor.Nel over the air HDTV looks great, especially at local 1080th channel (PBS HD). It seems a computer screen using the DVI input instead of a television screen, which is as it seems buona.La my complaint? I have a complaint. The counter of the television signal will no longer stay up to 2 minutes, and when they are outside adjusting antenna looking out the window and disappears in the cold, which schifo.Ma that’s about it. Family has a Vizio plasma 2 years old that has significant ghosting, also called burn in (but wears well, ghosting). This TV has not had even a hint of ghosting, even from the word go.
