This watch is easy on the eyes. You can read the clock without even having to bring up to his face. This is how big and bold numbers are. The Indiglo feature makes it easy to read at night, a feature that I now have su.Ho had one of these years and loved it. But after at least 12 years, has finally begun to work intermittently. This is probably because he had been immersed in water, steam, dirt, water and soap, and more. I banged on things, got caught on things, and generally given a very hard life. It ‘been a tough watch. When it became unreliable, I went looking for the clock itself to replace it. Unfortunately, it was not easy to find. All the clocks that I saw were more trendy and nowhere near useful. I’m not interested in a watch for every outfit. A watch that can take heavy gardening, with all the dirt and the water was what volevo.Poi I checked Amazon and there it was! (Good old Amazon!) So, I ordered it. The clock is the same, but the group is not. That’s why I did not give the full 5 stars. Although the band was the same, it was way to big for me and the clock almost wrap around me twice. Furthermore, it was more rigid and not as comfortable as the old band and made my wrist irritation. The band really itched. (Guess I should have saved the band to be seen dead …. Sigh). However, the band was very uncomfortable. After changing out for a new one, I’m back to having my favorite watch. (Maybe I should buy another one of these watches and save it for 15 years from now ….) I hope this has helped anyone wondering about Timex Expedition watches Classic. Timex I found to be very reliable and economical. I usually have two clocks go because I need to leave the band to dry. My watch is a Timex Expedition another, but a different style. The face is not readable as the numbers are silver, sleek and smaller. Can not say how many years is that the watch! Dakota I also had a clock given to me, but that one, though it seems robust, self destroyed. The bezel came off and could not be re-connected, leaving a sharp edge around the clock. Then just left after maybe a year or two and could not be revived with new batteries. Timex Watches month and last. And this is a winner, it’s one I have to get on the table every morning, my watch FAVORITE. Rating: 4 / 5
