Very easy to install and very flexible. Receiver is small and mounts easily on the front of the TV, and repeater 4 individual LED’s are tiny and fit on anything with 2 sides of the tape. Just make sure that the repeaters are facing the “eye” of the DVD or amplifier. System now works better than when I held the door open cabinet with the components in front of me, and I can keep the door closed and have components in any way I want. Now, if I can watch TV, the remote will work. Nice advantage: when the recipient sees the signal, which flashes blue as it were received the message – especially after the good response DVR is so slow. Rating: 5 / 5

Not sure what problem the other guy was with this repeater. . . It works great! I initially wanted the hotlink Pro system according to the large number of reviews it has received, but I ended up getting this one as a Christmas present. I tried and it worked really well without lag and good range, so I then proceeded to take the plunge and install it in my home theater. I was very concerned that there could be interference, because I have a 58 “plasma TV on the wall … This was not a factor at all. I could not get this unit to fail entering the IR sensor anywhere around my TV. It worked a little ‘out of sight behind it … That said, the unit is installed just below the TV and center channel speaker. have the system connected to TivoHD, Xbox 360, and my Onkyo amp and not missed a beat. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs a good IR repeater, and not necessarily concerned with a hook with no line of sight. obstacles small does not affect my signal, but does so to overcome 30ft range If the IR receiver is in sight. I could use my Harmony remote from the outside on the patio with all my devices carefully hidden in my office. All this for half the cost of hotlink Pro – Very happy indeed! Rating: 4 / 5

Not great. Interference from my TV was so serious as to completely disable the system unless they were standing 1 foot away from the receiver. She must go. Rating: 2 / 5
